Thanks again :) I was actually thinking of colouring this one by hand in photoshop. I was thinking of making it look more like a gleaming red stone set into a fancy golden setting. I could maybe achieve it using some fancy gradient work with apomap, but I know I could do it in photoshop. Will try both at some stage.

Yeah, I think we're on the same wavelength about the colours. I got the vibe of the old Eldar heartstones from it, so that colour scheme you're suggesting would work well.
